The South Dakota National Guard Museum seeks to trace the history and impact of the South Dakota National Guard and the Dakota Militia in both times of war and peace. The museum is located just west of Griffin Park, along the riverfront. Outside of the museum, visitors are treated to a display of military vehicles, including a Sherman Tank, a 75mm cannon, a A-7-D jet, and a Anti-Aircraft gun.
