The South Dakota Discovery Center and Aquarium features interactive and educational exhibits, including a "body bubble," a maze full of exciting information about regional wildlife, and the "Take Apart Table," an area where kids can dissect discarded appliances to see how they work. The museum is located just east of the Missouri River, between Dakota Avenue and West Pleasant Drive. The aquarium at the Discovery Center is stocked with walleye, gar, trout and a plethora of other local Missouri River aquatic life.
